Research Methodology
How We Verify Data
We verify information using official sources, direct communication, and ongoing monitoring. When something cannot be confirmed, we don't present assumptions as facts.
Our Verification Process
Start with official firm sources
We begin with each firm's official website, help center, pricing pages, and terms. These are our primary sources for rules, fees, and account details.
Cross-check with the firm directly
When information is unclear, missing, or recently changed, we communicate directly with the firm's team to confirm the details. We also monitor official Announcements, social media, and community channels for updates.
Review and verify each data point
We review each rule individually — including profit targets, drawdown, fees, payout requirements, trading restrictions, and more. Information is cross-checked before being added to our database.
Monitor changes and keep our database transparent
Prop-firm rules, pricing, and promotions can change frequently. We continuously monitor the firms we track and update our database when changes are confirmed. Every update is timestamped, and our Live Database Updates page shows exactly what changed, which firm it applies to, and which plan or account was affected.
What We Verify On Every Firm
Challenge & Funding Rules
We verify the rules for every evaluation and funded account, including profit targets, drawdown, daily loss limits, trading days, consistency requirements, and other conditions.
Pricing & Discounts
We verify challenge prices, activation fees, reset fees, available discounts, and other costs. When multiple pricing options exist, we review each one individually.
Payouts
We verify profit splits, payout requirements, withdrawal limits, payout frequency, waiting periods, buffer requirements, and available payout methods.
Trading & Platform Rules
We verify which platforms and brokers are supported, trading hours, overnight and weekend holding, news trading, copy trading, automated trading, and other trading restrictions.
Firm Information
We verify key information about each firm, including trader counts, total payouts, reviews, and other publicly available information used to help traders evaluate the firm.
Plans & Account Options
We review every available plan and account size individually, including the rules, pricing, features, and requirements specific to each one.
What Cannot Be Independently Verified
Some information comes directly from the firms
Certain figures — such as the number of traders, total paid out to traders — are reported by the firms themselves and cannot always be independently audited by us.
When we publish this information, we clearly identify it as firm-reported data rather than independently verified figures. If something appears unclear or inconsistent, we do not publish it as confirmed data. Instead, we leave it out until we can verify it with sufficient confidence.
Our Data Philosophy
Data over promotion
We present each firm and plan based on its actual rules, pricing, payouts, and features — not on which firm we prefer.
No preferential treatment
We may earn commissions through affiliate links, but this does not determine which firms we feature, how they are compared, or how their information is presented. Our goal is to give every firm a fair and objective representation.
Transparency comes first
We keep our database open about changes. When information is updated, we show it in live time when it was changed and what was updated, so you can see how our data evolves over time.
Why Trust My Futures Funded?
We make finding the right futures prop firm easier, faster, and more transparent. Our database brings important firm and plan details together in one place, with information that is continuously reviewed and updated. We also show available discounts and provide tools like personalized filters and our quiz to help you find the trading fit that best matches what matters most to you.
Our goal: Save you research time, find your trading fit, and help you avoid paying more than you should.
Some prop firms may pay us a commission when you sign up through our affiliate links. This comes at no additional cost to you. We provide the value first by helping you research, compare, and find the right fit — creating a win-win relationship where you get the tools and information you need, and we earn a commission when we help connect you with a firm.
See exactly what changed on our Live Database Updates page, and follow the latest firm news in Announcements.
